| Our group went round school and interviewed teachers. our story is about a women who has been in a coma since she was 16 and she is 55 now. When she went into the coma her mother promised she would never leave her. Last year, however, her mother died and her father had already died, so her only living relative is her sister. Here are some things the teachers have said: Miss Boden: I have never heard this story before but I think her sister is doing a fantastic job and I fully support her. She has taken responsibility. Mrs Bassett: I haven’t heard this story and I think the sister hasn’t had the help she should have. I believe that she is not wasting her time and because if its someone you love and care for you would do any thing for them. Mr Heathcote: I’ve never heard this story before and I completely support the sister. I believe that every one has a chance to live and if I were her sister I would do the same. Mr Farnsworth: I have heard this story before and I think it is very sad. I don’t think the sister is wasting her time. Mrs Joiner: No I haven’t heard this story before but it sounds very sad. She is a human being, letting someone die is manslaughter. Mr Skehan: I have not heard this before but I think if someone is breathing they should have the ability to continue breathing. I support her sister and one day I hope she wakes up. Mrs Randall: I have heard this story before. If it was me I wouldn’t like to lie there and do nothing I would just want to die! If it was me in that situation I would like my sister to let me die. I would let my sister die if I knew the pain and misery she was in. |
